Introduction

Introducion

This blog is meant at preserving, enriching and teaching new speakers of the siSwati language. Basically it will be vocab; if a word is brought up it shall be given its word catergory, semantic meaning, syntatic usage and be shown in a sentence or an example of a speech.

The author(s) of this blog will use the privilledge of being native language speaker(s) and that of being one(s) who studied the language at a higher level.

Let me make an example of what I mean to do in this particular blog.

Luju-[ludzu]. "honey" /noun/

Luju ngulamanti lanongotelako latiyile latfolakala emakhekhebeni etinyosi.

"The sweet juice extracted from bees' cobs."

Luju [NP] lolumnandzi luba sebusika.

"Nice honey is found in winter".

I would like to take this opportunity and welcome everyone to the bank of the siSwati language. A lot more shall be done, and the Swazi will get to have multiple sources of their language as well.
